Article 1: The race

The 5th edition of the race Correr SIN GLU10 VIRTUAL MODE”, promoted by the Gluten Sensitive and Celiac Association and organized under the technical direction of the MAPOMA Sports Association, It will be held from Thursday 25 of June (at 00:00h) until Sunday 28 June 2020 (at 23:59h).

Article 2: Completion deadline – Time limit - ages

The deadline for completing the chosen distance will start from 00:00Thursday h 25 at 23:59Sunday h 28 June 2020.

Please note that It must be carried out within the hours established by each municipality in accordance with the regulations of the de-escalation phases caused by the Covid-19.

TIME LIMIT: no time limit will be established to complete the distance except that stipulated by the schedules of the bands enabled for the performance of sports activities in each municipality in accordance with the regulations of the de-escalation phases caused by Covid-19.

AGES:

  • 10km: 16 years old on the day of the event
  • 5km: 14 years old on the day of the event
  • HIKE – VIRTUAL TRAINING: All ages

Due to the format established for this event, only one of the distances offered will be scoring for the Mapoma Running League by As ranking..

Article 3: Course

Each participant can freely choose the place where they want to take the test route according to the selected distance, always respecting the regulations in force in each municipality and the ones established by the regulations for the de-escalation phases caused by the Covid-19..

It is also possible to run the race on a treadmill as long as the distance and time of the exercise can be attached.

The only requirement is that participants must complete the selected distance scrupulously., not being valid the race if they lacked meters.

Each participant must perform the selected distance with the activity device that they usually use and then download the activity carried out and upload it to a platform through an App that we will provide from the organization totally free. The same week of the event detailed instructions on the operation of the App will be sent to the participants.

Classifications will be established for the distances of 10,000m and 5,000m.

The Walk will be free and each participant will be able to do the distance they want, it will not have classification.

There is also the possibility of conducting a virtual training session. For this we will put in the section “TRAVEL” of this web links to videos with interactive sessions where you can go to make them.

Any of the options is valid to contribute your grain of sand and collaborate with the project Contigo 2020 that the Association of Celiacs and Sensitive to Gluten is running, through which gluten-free foods are being brought to the most disadvantaged families.

All participants taking part in the 10,000m and 5,000m distances will automatically qualify for the MAPOMA RUNNING LEAGUE by As 2020.

Article 4: Registration – rates

Registrations will be available from the day 8 June 2020 to Saturday 27 June at 23:55h.

Due to the format established for this event, only one of the distances offered will be scoring for the Mapoma Running League by As ranking..

NOTE: the proceeds from the inscriptions will go to the Contigo project 2020, promoted by the Gluten Sensitive and Celiac Association, for which gluten-free foods are being delivered to families with fewer resources.

There will be a single fee of 5,60€ for all distances (5€ registration + 0,60€ commission platform)

DORSAL COLLECTION:

There will be no delivery of physical numbers since they are virtual and will be sent to participants via email immediately after completing the registration process. the same week of the event the final instructions of the event will also be sent via email with basic reminders for the race.

Article 5: Classifications

The unofficial classifications of the 10km race will be established based on the following categories:

  • YOUTH (Born between 2003 and 2004) – M y F* (Participants in the Youth category must have compliments 16 years on test day).
  • SENIOR (Born between 1986 and 2002) – M y F
  • VETERAN A (Born between 1981 and 1985) – M y F
  • VETERAN B (Born between 1976 and 1980) – M y F
  • VETERAN C (Born between 1971 and 1975) – M y F
  • VETERAN D (Born in 1970 and earlier) – M y F

The unofficial classifications of the 5km race will be established based on the following categories:

  • CADET (born between 2005 and 2006) – M y F* (participants must have 14 years old on test day).
  • YOUTH (Born between 2003 and 2004) – M y F
  • SENIOR (Born between 1986 and 2002) – M y F
  • VETERAN A (Born between 1981 and 1985) – M y F
  • VETERAN B (Born between 1976 and 1980) – M y F
  • VETERAN C (Born between 1971 and 1975) – M y F
  • VETERAN D (Born in 1970 and earlier) – M y F

The organization will post unofficial rankings on its website on the day 29 of June, moment from which the claims deemed appropriate may be presented. The claim period will be open during 72 hours moment from which the classifications will become final.

The classifications of the event are “unofficial” because the organization cannot guarantee with certainty the 100% the veracity of the results obtained by the participants, However, an “Unofficial” classification is established in which the fair play of the test participants is trusted by the organization.

Article 6: Provisioning:

Due to the virtual nature of the competition, official supplies cannot be established from the organization of the event. For this reason, all runners are recommended to hydrate correctly., to avoid the peak heat hours and in the case of high temperatures when carrying out the race, carry a bottle of water and salts to carry it out.

Article 7: Refunds

The registration fee will not be refundable in any case.

Article 8: Preventive measures

All participants are encouraged to follow the basic measures of prevention of Covid-19 transmission. Some advices:

  • Avoid crowded areas to carry out the race
  • Avoid the peak hours of the day with the largest influx of people on public roads
  • If the previous two are not possible, wear a mask for the crowded sections
  • Wash hands before and after the relay
  • Carry your own hydration bottle
  • Avoid running in the wake of other people leaving a minimum of 5m away
  • Leave 2m lateral space in overtaking

Article 9: Disqualifications.

The disqualification of those participants who will be disqualified and / or studied:

  • Don't go the full distance
  • Have race times that are much higher than their usual average
  • Another runner made the race for them
  • They are unsympathetic or do not respect the infection prevention measures regarding Covid-19

*Disqualified runners will automatically lose any option to the classification and the points obtained for the MAPOMA RUNNING LEAGUE by As 2020.
